Capturing the people behind one of South Australia’s largest health networks

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) employs more than 6,000 staff and delivers vital health services to over 400,000 people across the community.

With such a broad range of services, there was an opportunity to bring greater visibility to the full scope of NALHN’s work. At the same time, there was a strong desire to celebrate the people behind the care and help the community better understand its impact.
We set out to capture the people behind the care, and the impact of what they do.
Our production team delivered a multi-day shoot across key NALHN sites, including Lyell McEwin Hospital, Modbury Hospital, community clinics and in-home care settings.

We focused on capturing a wide cross-section of staff, from occupational therapists and surgeons to administrative staff and kitchen teams.

Inclusivity was central to the approach, ensuring the final content reflected the full ecosystem of care that supports patients every day.

Through a mix of candid moments and considered storytelling, we created a body of work that felt authentic, human and representative of NALHN’s people-first ethos.
The project resulted in a suite of emotive video content designed to support both internal and external communications.

Internally, the videos were used across campaigns and screened at staff awards, recognising the contribution of individuals and teams across the network.

Externally, the content provided clear and engaging insights into the breadth of NALHN’s services, helping consumers better understand the care available to them.

At its core, the work helped amplify the voices of staff and shine a light on the meaningful work happening across the network every day.
